Cabinet Architecture
At its core, the 3P 212 features a patented dual-chamber design created to eliminate internal interference and maintain tonal integrity across the full frequency range.
• Two isolated Tri-cab™ speaker chambers eliminate standing waves and internal reflections
• One open-back chamber and one closed-back chamber for controlled dimensional balance
• Tuned internal structure for clarity, punch, and focus
The result is a cabinet that responds immediately—tight, articulate, and fully resolved in the room.

Internal Acoustic Control
Each chamber incorporates studio-grade early reflection absorption—controlling internal reflections before they interfere with the signal.

By minimizing phase smearing and comb filtering inside the enclosure, the 3P 212 preserves clarity, focus, and timing across the full range of the instrument.

• Horizontal — proportioned for Kitchen Sink and DRGN head formats
• Vertical — aligned with Aurora 35 head footprint

Mono or Stereo Operation
Designed as a true stereo 2×12, the 3P 212 can operate as a traditional mono cabinet or as two independent speaker systems.
• 8-ohm mono operation when both speakers are linked
• 16 ohms per side in stereo operation
Flexible for both traditional setups and expanded spatial rigs.

Speaker Configuration
The 3P 212 is loaded with a matched pair of WGS Retro 30 speakers—the reference point for all 3rd Power amplifier design work since 2016.

Constructed from 5/8″ birch with dado joinery throughout, the 3P 212 is built for durability, transport, and long-term reliability in professional environments.

Build & Lead Time

Each 3P 212 Reference cabinet is built in small production runs using premium materials and proven construction methods. Current lead time is approximately 10–12 weeks from order.

We often deliver sooner as production allows, but this window ensures your cabinet is built, tested, and fully dialed before it ships.
