— DRGN 412 —
Real cabinet sound.
Under control.
Real interaction. Controlled response.

The DRGN 412 is not a traditional 4×12 guitar cabinet. It is a controlled acoustic system designed to deliver the full response of a real amplifier—without the uncontrolled volume and inconsistency that define conventional cabinets.

REAL SOUND. CONTROLLED.

Real sound was never the problem.

For decades, great guitar tone came from real amplifiers and speaker cabinets—moving air, reacting to the player, and filling a room with energy.

What changed wasn’t the sound. It was the environment. Volume restrictions, silent stages, and modern production demands made traditional cabinets difficult to use.

Digital systems solved the problem of control—but at the cost of physical response, interaction, and the way a real system behaves in the room.

THE PROBLEM WAS NEVER SOUND. IT WAS CONTROL.

Control—without compromise.

The DRGN 412 is not a traditional 4×12 cabinet. It is a controlled acoustic system designed to deliver the full response of a real amplifier—without the instability and excess volume that define conventional cabinets.

Its quad-chamber architecture and internal acoustic control manage how sound develops in physical space—tightening low-end response, improving clarity, and maintaining consistency across volume levels.

Paired with 3rd Power amplifiers, output is controlled at the source. The result is a complete system that delivers real interaction, predictable response, and usable performance in environments where traditional cabinets fall apart.

REAL SOUND. CONTROLLED RESPONSE. NO COMPROMISE.

Listen for the difference.

This is not about more gain, more volume, or more processing. It’s about how the note behaves—how it develops, holds, and stays present in the room.

These recordings were made nearly a decade ago—and they still hold up. No updates. No reprocessing. Just a real amplifier and cabinet system, captured once and still delivering today.

The design was brought back into production years later at the request of touring players, including Joe Satriani and Steve Vai—built again for use on major stages without modification.

A controlled system doesn’t flatten the sound. It stabilizes it—so the full response of the amplifier comes through with clarity, consistency, and force.

Clean — Control & Clarity

A clean signal—chosen to reveal how the system holds, develops, and stays present under control.

Featuring guitarist Brandon Bagby. Recorded in Nashville by producer Colt Capperrune using a real wet/dry/wet cabinet system.
Captured with Royer R-121 and Shure SM57 for the dry signal, with Neumann KM184s capturing the stereo effects field.
The cabinet used is the same DRGN 412 design available today, loaded with Celestion Vintage 30 speakers.
Vintech and Avid mic pres. No cabinet simulation or impulse responses were used.
Gain — Authority & Response

With added gain, the system maintains clarity, punch, and control—delivering the authority of the DRGN platform without collapse or smear.

Featuring guitarist Ryan Wariner. Recorded in Nashville by producer Colt Capperrune with Pro Tools.
Captured with Royer R-121, Shure SM57, and a Neumann U47 room mic to capture the air and space of the cabinet in the room.
The cabinet used is the same DRGN 412 design available today, loaded with Celestion Vintage 30 speakers.
Vintech and Avid mic pres. No cabinet simulation or impulse responses were used.

From clean to driven, what remains is the same: real cabinet sound—controlled, focused, and consistent.

REAL SOUND. UNDER CONTROL.

— DRGN 412 —
A real cabinet you can actually use.
A quad-chamber controlled-response 4×12 guitar cabinet designed for modern environments—delivering real sound, real interaction, and real usability.

The DRGN 412 brings together physical response, clarity, and control in a way traditional cabinets cannot—making it equally at home on stage, in the studio, or at controlled volume.

This is not a compromise between real and practical. It is both.
