SPECIAL NOTE ABOUT THE MOUNTING BASEPLATE: Standard single coil pickups are traditionally assembled on a trapezoidal baseplate. A standard baseplate is what you see installed on guitars with pick guard mounted electronics. Some modern guitars feature narrow in-body mounting pockets that are too small to accommodate a standard baseplate. We’ve developed a narrow ‘skinny’ baseplate for this type of installation.
